We are a UK based organistion, with supporters in Europe and North America. From a group of individuals with a long standing interest in events in Belarus, we formally formed the campaign in early 2007.

23rd November 2008. We must apologise for the lack of recent updates to this site, both in terms of news articles, and analysis. There have been a number of news issues effecting Belarus recently including the removal of the EU travel ban on President Lukashenko and key members of his administration. It is worth mentioning that this is not as progressive on the behalf of the EU as it first appears, as these sanctions were set to expire and no country had expressed solid interest in maintaining them against overwhelming evidence to the contrary of the primarily OSCE created concerns.

We have been busy 'behind the scenes' working on a more international structure for this campaign, to represent the increasingly multi-national membership and support. Thanks again for all the supportive emails, and hopefully in our campaign summary of 2008 (which will be on the site in December/January) we will be able to illustrate our plans to truly take this campaign forward, into a more proactive and effective movement.
